Emily couldn't remember why she hadn't tested out the camera yet, but she was itching too. So much power in her hands and so little time. She looked at a few potential targets but none looked particularly interesting to her. There was a nice gay couple but they seemed to happy to change. He saw a security guard chasing someone but she figured the woman had it coming and that was just that guys job.
Then there was a mother and her son. The son was cute with red hair and funny overalls. The toddler looked at her with pleading eyes and for some reason she was reminded of something, though she couldn't place it. The mother picked up the child and Emily watched them walk out of the mall.
"This is no good." Emily said. "I need to find better targets than this. That's when it struck her. Her stupid coworkers. She worked a pastime job at Burger King during the summer and she hated it. The absolute worst part was her coworkers. There was Zach the obnoxious, homophobic cashier. Eric, the cute but annoying fry cook. There was Paige the bitchy teen drama queen, and finally Gertrude, the spunky latina who always belittled Emily's work.
They were all the worst people and she always wanted revenge and now she could deliver it. It was her day off but she felt she could make an exception. On the way out she spotted the little boy again who was banging on the window trying to get her attention. She decided that he must really dislike his mother so she flashed the camera at both of them. Now the former mother was a little boy in the back seat sleeping, and the former toddler was now a mother in the front seat. She could tell by the hair, as the new mother had the same curly red hair the little boy had.
Emily jumped in her car and raced off to Burger King. Unbeknownst to her, Rick was not too far behind. She pulls up to the fast food place and thought of what to do.
