With next week being the first week of October, people were coming in for setting up Spookyville. While most of it weren't "set up" until the last two weeks in October, there was still some time to do some "teaching" by Arts and Special Effects Majors. This was mainly because the original intention of Spookyville was to be a kind of "group project" for various tech and art colleges. But there were other things going on.

"So these girls have technically completed Project White Lily?" asked one guy of Anton as three porn stars, newly reborn as shark Animalians did an erotic "remake" video of the movie Open Water.
"Yes," answered Anton, "And technically, once you've finished the White Lily Program, you can do anything you want with your new life."
"So why did these porn stars jump right back to their old lives?" said the man as the male protagonist, a lizard Animalian, who was stranded on a raft in the middle of the "sea", was jumped by the three shark women before the actual "scene" began.
"These are amongst those adult entertainers who buried their old identities beneath 'too much plastic', as Dr. Jones once described them." Replied Anton, "They decided to reassume their old 'jobs' to help deal with those comments requesting more 'adult' videos on the website."
"Alright," said the person, "But it's videos/comics/art that causes people to have a misconception about Animalia."
"No kidding." said Anton, who already knew about it from the very beginning.

"So why are these supposedly "cursed" objects and "curses" going to be in a museum?" asked Clara as a "Hope Diamond" was being made from plastic.
"Because one of the parts of 'black magic' that is considered part of Halloween is curses," said one of the NIT, "and these things are being fabricated because people are always fascinated by the weird and the occult, but we don't have the real things, mainly because we either can't find them, or don't want to bring the curse down on anyone, or even the curse isn't tied to one thing."
"That just doesn't make any sense." said Clara.
"Believe what you want." said one Special Effects student from London, who had overheard Clara's comment, "Same thing I say to all nonbelievers."

"So what are you working on?" asked Diego of Manny during one of his dates with Patty when they met while Manny was just getting off his new iPhone.
"I've heard of the appearance of a cobra voadora in Brazil." said Manny.
"That was really a harmless Lantern Fly." said Diego.
"That actually reminded me of something that was done during the "golden age" of circus sideshows. First there was a tent that would hold something with a sign at the front proclaiming things like 'the incredible crocodile man', or 'see the incredible wolf-boy', or similar ones. You'd pay a small entrance fee to enter the tent, then walk through a dark tunnel before beholding the real thing."
"I saw that on an episode of American Pickers once." said Patty.
"Anyway," continued Manny, "When I heard about that, I'd thought to play to some people's circus nostalgia with a tent whose sign proclaims: 'Do you dare to face the Snake with Wings?' I've already got off the phone with a natural history museum who has a preserved specimen they're willing to loan us. I've also got the idea to have black light letters which reveal the 'myths' about the creature before you're confronted with the facts."
"I'll be sure to look at it when it's time for Spookyville." promised Diego.
