The woman examining you speaks - "...that coincides with my readings." She turns to the woman inquiring of you with a nod.
"So you're from another world?" she asks.
"Ah... yes," you say. "And I was a man there."
"I don't care about that! You're not the first from another world. You're not the first from a world without magic, or with too many men. Did you really think most worlds would have nearly as many sapient males as women?"
"Eh...."
"Anyway, your dress deserves a full career, and so you deserve a full career."
"...couldn't you just change her back?" you ask.
"Could? Maybe. We'd have to look into the exact 'shape' of her change. As a matter of policy, we don't. Still, she doesn't deserve to enter civilian life just yet."
You sigh.
