"I wish" Ty said forcefully before falling silent.
A moment later Katelyn and Buck shared a glance wondering what is happening in Ty's mind because nothing was in the real world. They were about to say something when they noticed Ty was mouthing words furiously and his eyes were closed.
Three minutes later Buck noticed a strange odor was beginning to emanate from Ty, and still nothing had manifested.
Two minutes later Katelyn began to smell it too and was beginning to fear that the pent up magical energy could have a negative effect. It smelled of the ozone after a lightning storm, not unpleasant, but a primordial power not to be trifled with nonetheless... "Umm, Ty honey, You'd better let that thought finish, and you can finish modify the rest...."
Ty began speaking out loud cutting her off. "... taking care of bills with a healthy amount left over to take care all the other things we want to do." Ty's eyes snapped open expecting to see the wondrous thing he had imagined. His face fell slightly when it wasn't there.
A wind blew from nowhere as if a vacuum had suddenly formed before the group. The group couldn't turn away as the forest itself became the incarnate will of Ty.
Trees grew and turned themselves into wooden planks, the root systems began digging a hole. Rocks threw themselves out of the way, making room as the forest began to turn itself into a quaint 5 bedroom house like the one he was used to living in.
Not everything Ty imagined could be supplied by nature. Many things were simply conjured into being like the TV, game consoles, and the appliances. The excavated rocks settled themselves into the dirt before the garage and became the beginnings of a driveway. Thousands upon thousands of other rocks worked their way up to the surface and joined the driveway making gathering. Once all the stones were in place they heated up and compressed into a singular sheet of stone creating the worlds first solid granite driveway.
A large truck, a couple 4 wheelers, a motorcycle, and a dirt bike formed itself up from the garage floor, the group watched in awe as the door slid itself shut.
Katelyn's eyes glassed over as the outside acceptance part of the wish came into fruition, "Ahh Buck, I suppose I should congratulate you on the spectacular house you had built." she said in a daze.
Buck looked at her quizzically as he had his own far away look in his eyes, "Thank you Katelyn, I'm very proud of it."
Ty smirked and told them both to check it out! Ty ran ahead and opened the door for Buck who pranced in without hesitation. As soon as his hooves touched the Hardwood entryway his fur began to recede. His bones shifted and his weight redistributed. In mere seconds he had shifted into human form.
6'2'' and 184 lbs, light brown hair with hints of blonde, brown eyes with flecks of green. His human voice sounded the same and without even a thought Buck said, "Ill be right back, let me throw on some better clothes."
Two minutes later he was back from his room, as though he had been living here for a while, and it was the first time Ty had gotten a chance to actually see his friends human face. Ty, not under his own spell, soaked in every detail because it was the first time.
Buck had a strong athletic physique and looked well suited to be a construction worker, or bodybuilder Ty thought with a chuckle. Buck noticed Ty staring and questioned his unusual sudden interest in his every move.
Ty found it fascinating how the graceful deer became this lumbering handsome man, wearing flannel and blue jeans. Bucks mind was now filled with a false human identity so he can continue exploring human existence without Ty worrying about him crossing roads or pooping in a store he is visiting because he has never been potty trained. "Take a picture it'll last longer." Buck chided playfully, now understanding colloquial phrases.
Ty let Buck show Katelyn around. The three of them had a very nice evening. Ty and Buck took worked in harmony to prepare appetizers and a simple meal, and clean up afterwards. Eventually it was time for Katelyn to go. They saw her off and she was confused as to why she pulled off the driveway halfway to the house.
Once she left Ty stepped outside and invited Buck to come out with him, "Come out Buck, smell that fresh air." Buck stepped out and inhaled deeply, he felt a stirring deep within him. Ty didn't hesitate, "Look at the expanse of the forest, don't you wish you could gallop through it?"
"Yeah Ty, that's actually exactly what I wi.. wait a minute..." Buck had stepped off the landscaping and reverted back to his deer form, just as quickly as he left it. A mixture of confusion and excitement crossed Bucks muzzle, "Did... did that just happen?" he asked beginning to hop in place. "Did I host a dinner party?"
