Stephanie and Megan both had to agree that Ann had out done herself, dinner was fantastic. Throughout the meal the four adults got to know each other a little bit better. Jackie learned that Stephanie and Megan had been spending quite a few weekends going out with Ann. Stephanie and Megan in turn found out that Jackie had decided to surprise Ann this weekend. The woman had shown up last night and spent the night. Megan was surprised to learn that Ann and Jackie had been friends for years nd had only recently taken it to the next level. As dinner completeted Jackie and Megan went into to talk on the couch as Stephanie and Ann began cleaning up.
“So you weren’t expecting her at all this weekend were you,” Stephanie whispered as she loaded dishes into the dishwasher. Ann shook her head as she wiped down the stove. “No it was a total surprise,” she said. “A pleasant surprise to say the least. We had....fun last night.”
“Sinner,” Stephanie chuckled. Looking back at Megan and Jackie she now leaned closer to Ann. “So was it....magical?”
Ann blushed as she nervously gazed at her friend. “Umm very,” She stammered.
Stephanie narrowed her eyes as she grinned at her friend. “I’m not talking about whatever you two did as a couple,” she chuckled. “I’m wondering if you and Jackie may have explored her feelings....through the ages, if you catch my drift.”
Ann smirked as she placed her towel down. “What makes you think we did anything involving magic?”
“Oh come on Ann,” Stephanie groaned. “I know how much fun you had at Christmas because I did too. So tell me? Did you two have some magical fun or what?”
“Well,” Ann smiled impishly. “We May have had a bit of fun last night. Why don’t tell me you want in on the action.”
“Of course I do,” she whispered excitedly. “As soon as I saw Jackie I got excited about the possibility. You know how much fun I had last time. That was the best Christmas I had in years. Now I’m wondering if we can turn this little get together into a sleepover.”
“What about Megan,” Ann asked. “She doesn’t know about any of that. Aren’t you worried she’ll freak out if she sees everyone getting younger?”
“Then we tell her the secret,” Stephanie countered. “If your telling me that we can make ourselves younger for the night than I say let’s do it.”
“I’m still not too sure,” Ann mused, rubbing her chin.
“Cmon please,” Stephanie pleaded. “You know I didn’t exactly have the greatest of childhoods. I never got to go to any real sleepovers when I was a kid the first time, nothing would make me happier than actually getting the opportunity to do it with friends.”
“Okay,” Ann sighed. “I’m willing to give it a try.” Stephanie squealed in excitement as she now hugged Ann tightly. “Glad your happy,” Ann smirked. “But two things. One, how do we tell Megan and two how old should we become.”
Stephanie rubbed her chin as she looked at their friend. “I guess we show and tell,” she shrugged. “As far as how old I say we either become 16, 12, or 8. Depends on what kind of sleepover you want. A teenage party where we talk about boys and dating, a preteen sleepover where we watch scary movies or a kid sleepover where we watch Disney movies.”
“I’m fine with any of them ,” Ann said. “Guess we should decide as a group.”
As Ann and Stephanie now looked over at their friends they smiled. Their evening was about to take a very interesting turn.
