You closed your eyes and pointed a claw at random to one of the creatures in front of you. However when you slowly opened your eyes to see who your talon was directed towards you saw that you were pointing directly at the dragon's face. All eyes were on you and the dragon glared at you as your heart sank and you were too frozen to move a muscle.
The surrounding kobold started shouting at you, all of their faces enraged by your action. You groveled and covered your head expecting to be in the center of a humongous fight until the dragon let out a deafening roar that silenced the room. Now all eyes were on your master, who now looked annoyed from all of the commotion now.
The dragon looked around the room at his subjects and growled,"Everyone, leave this room now and let the men pick their mates!"
"B-But master..." one kobold chimed in then the dragon shot a nasty look at him and roared,"I SAID NOW!!!"
You watched as all of the kobolds ran for their lives, and they exited the room in a hurry, trampling over you as they did. However, just as you were about to leave the dragon’s tail slammed down in front of the only foreseeable exit and you turn around to come about to snout with your master.
"You..." He said in a deep, low growl
"I-I'm s-sorry," You whimpered stepping away only to trip on your own tail and fall onto your rump. You covered your face with your hands and whimpered,"I-I didn’t m-mean to..."
The dragon’s gaze leered on you now and he blew a hot puff of smoke at you and said,"A woman, who was captured but not a day ago chooses me as her husband? The nerve of you..."
"I-I didn’t m-mean to I s-swear, p-please..." You whimpered, crying, thinking that this was going to be the end.
The dragon then paused, and a sly grin appeared on his face. "It seems you have a small bit of pride left in that puny little body of yours. I have to say, you've got me intrigued," The dragon exclaimed and you paused and looked up at him with tears in your eyes, but now more curious than afraid.
"So tell me, what was going through your feeble little mind? What did you think was going to happen after you were to choose?" He asked
You nervously pressed your thumbs together as you stared up at this large beast. "I-I'm.... fucked?" You whined and the dragon nodded to you.
"Quite, literally in fact, tis the best way in my opinion, but what did you think would happen if you picked me?" The dragon asked, staring at you intently.
"I-I.... d-didn’t... I-I j-just went w-with it I-I guess," You replied frantically then the dragon smiled and chuckled.
"Oh I see, you went with your gut feeling didn’t you? Your instincts influenced your choice, and deep down they knew they could only truly be satisfied by unconditional loyalty to me." The dragon chuckled
Your eyes widened as you tried to think of a response to this, and a whole cluster of thoughts entered your head. You were confused beyond anything, but was the dragon actually interested in you?
"However, a lowly kobold being a wife to someone like me? Hmmm... I accept your gesture of devotion, but... in order to fulfill your promise to me, you must...." The dragon said
