As the girls settled onto the couch Ann and Jackie couldn't help but notice how the four of them were acting.
The girls were acting more and more luke children and less luke the mature women that they actually were, Ann had been the first to notice and now pulled Jacjie to the side. "Your feeling it too right?"
"Yeah," Jackie said quietly, not wanting to alarm the others. "We're all acting more and more like kids. I mean...I still have all my memories but...I feel...like a kid."
"Same here," Ann said. "And just so you know Im not a kid, I turn 13 this summer."
"Ann focus."
"Sorry," Ann blushed. Sighing she looked back at her friends. "Well so what if we are acting like kids, you worded the wish so we become grownups in the morning right?"
"True," Jackie nodded. "Guess we should just roll with it and have fun. By the way, this has been the coolest sleepover ever Ann. You're definitely going ro be the coolest gurl in sixth grade come Monday."
Ann giggled as Jackie gasped in surprise. "Ugh," she groaned. "This is going to get weird before tomorrow."
"Maybe," Ann mused. "I do know that I still like you...like like you, like you."
"Me too," Jackie blushed. As the two 12 year olds now awkwardly lookrd at eachother they burst into a fit of giggles. While they might be feeling and acting more like children the two of them still cared deeply about eachother. Even if that relationship now meant that the most serious thing the two would do, would be kissing. As the two returned they could see Stephanie smiling impishly.
"So what were youbtwo lovebirds talking about," she giggled. Ann and Jackie blushed, noticing they had been holding hands. "Um just stuff," they answered quickly, taking a seat on the couch. As they did Stephanie sighed dreamily as she looked at the couple.
"You know I want to be honest with you two," she whispered. "I....really think its so cool you two...like eachother so much. Your such a cute couple, I hope I can find a boyfriend who likes me as much as you two."
"Im sure you will Steph," Megan answered. "I mean like...your just so cool. Any guy would be lucky to be your boyfriend."
"You think Im cool?"
Megan nodded, blushing as she shifted nervously on the couch. "Um yeah," she said sheepishly. "I mean I think your so cool. I wish I was as confident as you."
Stephanie thanked the girl before grinning. "So is it me or are we acting more and more like kids," she giggled.
"It's not you," Ann said. "We'll be okay though. We should turn back to normal by morning."
Stephanie nodded, rubbing her chin thoughtfully. "Guess that works still...I was wondering about something?"
"What's on your your mind Steph," Jackie asked.
"Well," she said quietly. "After hearing that Jackie made you four, I got curious. What exactly did you do when you were four. Were you still you?"
"Yeah I was still me," Ann said. "I felt like a kid but I was still me. I just happened to like cartoons and enjoyed splashing in a bubble bath."
"Jackie gave you a bubble bath," Megan exclaimed. "Thats so cute, did you take pictures?"
"Wish I did," Jackie smirked. "Annie was adorable."
"Wonder if we should all try it," Stephanie asked, a mischievious grin on her face.
"Seriously," Jackie said in astonishment.
"Yeah could be fun," she shrugged. "I mean, it would mean we would all have to become 4 but playtime in the tub could be kinda fun. What do you guys think?"
Ann, Jackie, and Megan now looked at eachother. Did they really want to get even younger and take a bath together? Turning to Stephanie the girls answered.
