"How about we try this on famous people?" Barbie said. "We don't full know how this thing works yet so maybe testing it on them would be safer?"
Jake wanted to say no but he knew she was right. For crying out loud, he was talking to his dog for God's sake. This thing could probably do anything. It was safer to see what it could do on others rather then his own family. As much as he wanted to get revenge, he didn't want to do any permanent damage.
"Okay you're right. Let's go look at my mom's tabloids and take some pictures!" Jake said! He never thought he'd be so excited to look at those.
They began flipping through the pages when Jake saw one of his favorite actors. "Oh hey! Emma Stone! She's cute right? Let's try her."
Jake flipped the awareness to just the user. That meant Barbie wouldn't be aware but it was better than having Emma Stone throwing a fit somewhere. The article was on something about her hair or whatever and Emma was in frame smiling. Jake snapped the picture and suddenly her photo vanished from the magazine.
Barbie asked if anything had changed but Jake couldn't find any reference to Emma Stone. He looked through the book and found nothing. That's when a familiar voice appeared behind him.
"Hey dork, hey Auntie Barbie, I'm heading out." Jake turned to see a teenaged Emma Stone staring back at him. She looked younger at about 18. Her clothes were fashionable still and her hair was now curly, as she was apparently Jake's biological sister now.
"Okay Em have fun." Barbie casually said. She started walking out when Jake stopped to ask her something. "Hey, uh, Em. What's your dream job?"
She blushed and looked annoyed. "Acting, you know that doofus. See you later." She said in a huff as she walked out the front door. Jake was amazed and Barbie was starting to catch on.
"Wait, did you change Emma? I thought you were changing a celebrity?"
"She was a celebrity! She used to be Emma Stone! A famous actress! I guess people far away who are changed tend to end up as someone close to the camera."
"What?!" Barbie said shocked. "But, I always remembered Em. Even when I was a dog I remember Em being there."
The two looked at the camera in shock as they tried to guess what they should do.
