in the mist of the panic, James quickly decided to return back to the carnival as he reclothed himself, even his black speedos as he was naked. despite the moderately warm weather that he soon was slipping on a pair of gloves to cover his hands as he then rushed out. avoiding eye contact with the girl who was by now sure viewed him as an oddball and jumped into the nearest taxi he could find that Before long, he was back at the carnival.
rushing up to the uninterested young woman who was manning the ticket stall, James tried to appear calm and unphased. he could reasonably manage under the circumstances as the tried to talk to her. it was then a low alligator noise of a gurgle escape him, but right now he didn't care about it.
"Hi there. I'm here looking for Kayla. Do you know where I could find her?" James said to the ticket lady, she looked at him with a vacant expression on her face.
"Kayla? who's that?" she said as she felt obliged to ask.
"she was with The magician that was working in the tent next to the coconut shy. or, at least I think." he said as another low gurgle escaped from him while trying to hide it this time.
"sir, There are no magicians here by that name as there aren't any tents next to the coconut shy. why do you even sound like a gator at me?" she said as she was rude enough to ask that much to James embarrassment.
Not wanting to extend this conversation any further, he pulled out his ticket from earlier and walked briskly past the girl to find Kayla himself. however, To his horror that when he got there is where he sees it was longer there. there wasn't anything to see where the tent had been standing, not much more than an hour ago as he instinctively ran up to the man on the coconut shy that was pushing past a queue of bemused onlookers.
"excuse me sir. can you tell me Where did the girl in the tent go? the one that was right next to you earlier?" he said as his low alligator gurgle sounds were getting that he almost lost his cool, but he didn't care if he seemed crazy to this stranger now.
"are you being funny are you? I have no idea what you're talking about, but there's a few girls that I've been next to earlier today if you mean one of them." the man replied, but it was as if James were crazy.
he was beginning to get used to the reaction he was getting as James then walked away from him and stood alone. trying to collect his own thoughts for a moment while he was beginning to doubt his own sanity. What was happening to him today?
