Lucy was just straight up confused. She just watched her friend hopped out like a frog, she was pretty good at it as well, and now she was hopping away from her. She couldn't be seen like this.
"Annie! Wait up! Slow down!"
Annie slowed down, but she still hopped away from her. "Why? So that you can mock me even more? *croak*"
Lucy was in shock. Did... did she just croak? She really needed to hide Annie away from anyone who was watching. "No, no, I want to help! I want to help you change back!"
"So that I don't embarrass you again? Maybe I like being a frog! *croak*"
Lucy tried to ignore Annie's croaks and tried to find a way to convince her to stop. "You know I'm the only one who... who... who was there when you changed... I'm the only one who might help..."
Annie slowly stopped hopping and started to weep. Lucy ran up to her swatting friend and tried to comfort her. "Hey, hey... it's okay... we'll... make it through this... I guess..."
"Okay. *croak* I'm sorry about before, I'm just- *croak* I'm just worried if I'm stuck like this *croak*... Not like that is a bad thing, I've gotten the hang of it throughout the years now *croak*.
Lucy was trying to keep being supportive but her mind was ablaze with questions. Why she believe that she is a frog now? Why does she like acting like one? What does she mean by she was cursed by a witch? Why was she croaking? "Hey now... how about we do something together? What would you like to do?"
