"Here is where we collect the milk that we sell, the milk that is so beneficial to the company. A cow-girl can produce a lot of milk. It isn't rare that 'private consumption' isn't adequate to lower the milk volume. A full breast or udder can be really painful. A cow-girl can't milk herself - well, not without some risk of damage - so instead we condition the cow-girls to come here. We collect the milk safely and process it for consumption. We compensate the cow-girl with a percentage of the sale, based on the market value of their milk. For example, for high quality milk, we pay around 2$ a liter. That is pretty impressive, considering that classic old-fashioned cow milk made around 0.3$ a liter for the farmer."
They stopped in a long hallway where they could see multiple doors protected with alarms.
"There are two places for milking. One uses machines and the other is done by hand. As you can imagine, we can't afford to pay enough people for hand-milking all of the cow-girls. So, we give priority to cow-girls with low production. Well, low production is relative. Cow-girls can produce between 1 to 15 liters of milk every day. Once again, compared to real cows it is very impressive. A true milking cow can produce around 12.5 liter of milk a day only during their milking period. Happily, the serum allows the cow-girl to be a lot more efficient than their animal counterpart. Otherwise, you can imagine the tremendous amount of food and nutrients that would be needed for a cow-girl to maintain production at this rate."
As they walked, Christian read the sign above a passing door.
"Aren't we going to see the hand milking?!"
The guide looked embarrassed, but didn't stop walking.
"Well, we are short on time. And the 'little breast' cow-girls are a lot more shy. They don't like to be watched during their milking time. But don't worry - there is still a lot to see ... a lot more than you think even just visiting only one type of production... "
