Suddenly Beth and Jack heard a pounding on the door. Oh great, Beth thought, Scott. What a male loser! She couldn't believe she had ever gone out with him. You had only to see how he treated his poor old mother to know how he would treat a girlfriend. Suddenly, she had an idea. She knew Scott loved video games, the more violent the better. She motioned to Jack to stay out of the way. Beth went to the door.
"Oh hi, come in" she said. "Uh," he said "I wanted to see if you had gotten out of your mood." "Oh, I'm fine now" Beth replied. Finer then you'll ever know, jerk! "We were just playing a new computer game called Chronivac. Really cool! You want to try it out?" She led him into the computer room. "Just let me get it set up." Hmmm...OK. Now!
Scott had no idea what was happening, but he felt his body shrinking. "What's happening!" he yelled. "What kind of a game is this?" "The last one you'll be playing for a while" Beth smirked at the little baby girl lying in a pile of Scott's clothes. Now for phase two. She called Scott's mom and told her that her son had passed out in her house and would she please come get him. Alice wearily answered yes.
In a few minutes Scott's mom Alice had arrived at the house. In the meantime, Beth set up the changes she wanted on the computer. When Alice came into the computer room and looked around for her son, Beth hit Enter. The lines of age, pain and constant disappointment with her son dropped from Alice's face as she lost twenty years in age. Her hair, caught up in a bun, turned to long and flowing. Her sagging breasts perked up and expanded in size. But most important were the changes going on in her head. Where had stood the aging, beat down widow was now a pretty young femme lesbian and single mother. She picked up her daughter and ran to kiss her lover. "Thanks for babysitting!" she exclaimed. "Was Sandra any trouble?" "None at all" Beth grinned. "Well" said Alice "Here's twenty bucks, but I can think of a more personal reward for your caretaking?" She rubbed the small of Beth's back. "Come back home with me." She whispered in Beth's ear. "Oh yeah" Beth grunted. They left the house holding hands.
