Mr. Wallace was the History teacher, he was being shown by his new boss (the head of the school) how this was one of the newly changed Literal Education Schools. They would give each teacher a ring which allowed them to manipulate any person physically or mentally (clothing included) or object for a period of time. There were a few rules to the ring. You were not allowed to give a student information on that subject directly through the ring, since it may undo at some point. You can not change a student unless it was for educational purposes or for punishment. The ring was allowed to be kept outside of the school area and usable by that person.
Mr. Wallace had been shown on the P.E. teacher, who had agreed to be the training dummy, how the ring worked and what it could do.
Mr. Wallace waited in his new classroom at his desk, he threw a pencil in the air and turned it into a paper airplane which flew around the room and then into a ping pong ball which bounced all the way back to Mr. Wallace’s desk and became a pencil again.
He waited around 5 minutes before his first class showed up, the school was mixed so both male and female student entered and found themselves a seat. The school was a private one so the students had a uniform, the boys wore a button up white shirt and normal dark coloured pants, the girls wore more of a blouse type button up shirt with a long skirt.
Mr. Wallace began, “Good morning class, I am Mr. Wallace and I’m happy to be teaching you this year.” He said joyfully, a few faces were smiling but most had a depressed expression on them, “I understand you all hate History, but trust me this year it will be fun..”
