Steve added enigmatically, "Well there is a next stage, but I don't think our garage is large enough for it." Jeff noted, "Well there is an abandoned airstrip nearby, it's used for racing, but even that is rare. We'd have all the space and privacy we need, but how to get there", he points at Steve who was an anthropomorphic kangaroo with helicopter parts, "without getting noticed."
"Leave that to me!" Cliff exclaimed before sitting down in front of the computer starting to type. Meanwhile Jeff looked at Steve who was standing next to him, curiously he poked one of the blades of his main rotor, giving it a little stroke. Abruptly Steve turned around in a single hop, and said, "Hey, no touching" and poked his clawed finger at Jeff's chest. This turned on his built in radio, the glow of its display clearly visible through his t-shirt. As the music started, Jeff found himself forced to lip sync. Unfortunately for him, it was an opera. As he realized his predicament it was to late. He frantically tried to turn it off, but having to open his mouth wide during the songs kept him from taking a good look at his radio. Adding insult to injury, his radio also seemed to take over his arms giving him a very strong irresistible urge to gesture also. As his friends nearly laid on the floor laughing, Steve finally said, "Come, I'll rescue you". He took his claw to rip open Jeff's t-shirt and turned off the radio. "Thanks,", Jeff replied as he was able to regain control over his body, "but next time be more careful, please.". Steve giggled and nodded, "Well it's good to know."
Meanwhile Cliff was finished and undressed as he pressed the start button. At first his skin started to dissolve into a smooth surface, before reshaping into what appeared to be normal clothes, blue jeans, sneakers a plaid shirt with a simple jacket on it and the like. On his back a hump formed which turned into a backpack as well as its stripes. Little bags formed at his belt. "For the rest, we'll need to go downstairs", he said as he went on his way down to the garage.
As they all arrived Cliff kneed down on the floor on all fours, gradually he stared to appear to melt into a blob which then grew and grew. His friends were forced to step back as he quickly filled a large portion of the garage. Eventually his form gradually became van like, forming a metal surface. On his front a large windscreen formed above his engine cover poking a bit further forward. At the same time large tinted windows formed at his sides, as well as sliding doors on the sides and normal front doors. Eventually what stood in front of them appeared to be a normal van. Steve was the first one to take a step or hop forward. He opened the side door. Inside there were several seats and benches that could fold over, just like you'd expect in any mini-van. "Well that certainly won't draw any attention, but you know, I've expected a bit more". "Coming up", Cliff said and a wave of color washed over his outsides leaving them black with glowing green stripes and ornaments, antennae started to appear. His insides also got pimped up, creating a wave of instruments and devices inside. The cockpit started to have several screens all showing information to the driver as well as the passenger.
"That's much better", he said and folded down the backrest of one of the seats allowing it to accommodate his engine, "Let's go on a field trip.". Danny now a human again though still in his alternate form wearing a yellow leather suit, sat down next to him with Greg and Reg following suit. The driver's seat was reserved for Jeff who, as he was getting a new shirt also brought the Chronivac and a laptop with him.
