Elsewhere, the hyper-hetero newly engaged movie stars, Jack Burton and Jessica Bling, were arriving on the set of their as-yet-untitled new film. Or at least, it was their set now, having been warped by the reality bending aspect of the 'were breeder' curse they both carried.
Previously, it had belonged to a film being made by outspoken gay writer and director Jared Leland. The script he'd written had been inspired by a particular old fairy tale but filtered through the lens of modern events and politics. His lesbian protagonists, one of whom was played by the gothic lesbian actress Beatrix Darcy, were trying to get to from California to Vegas to get married. But soon, they found thatt they were being chased by a homophobic macho stereotype, who couldn't take no for an answer.
Of course, that all changed as soon as the 'new leads' neared the closed soundstage. Reality shifted and Jared found himself no longer in the director's chair. Instead, he was only the script's writer. Likewise, Beatrix had been recast in a different role. Neither of them of them were aware of these changes, but that didn't mean they were happy in their new positions either.
In fact, Jared was about to have a word with the two 'stars' about the changes they'd ordered to his script. He tromped across the soundstage as soon as Jack and Jessica had arrived.
"What do you think you're doing?"
The angry words caught Burton's attention, causing the action hero to glare over the top of his sunglasses at the source of them.
"What are you yelling about now, Leland?"
The almost dismissive tone in that response only made Jared more heated.
"You've requested more changes to the script. I thought we'd..."
"You thought wrong. It needs more action, less of that talking head crap. Especially that gay ass stuff, Leland."
The screenwriter was stunned momentarily by Burton's words. He shook his head angrily at such blatant bigotry, not aware he'd just been infected with the curse. His possible response was cut off by a raised hand from the actor.
"Don't want to hear any more complaints. Make those changes. Now."
Jared huffed a little, but turned to head to the trailer he'd been using to do the rewrites. He tugged at the thick collar of his heavy grey turtleneck sweater that he used to hide his thinnish upper body. But the black skinny jeans he wore destroyed an notion of being muscular. He pushed up his thick glasses over his thinning auburn hairline, rubbing his brown eyes to try and ease his tension.

Elsewhere on the set, Beatrix was frowning at the script in her hands. The dark-haired actress had been cast as the film's villain, not necessarily her ideal choice of roles. She didn't mind the wardrobe for the character, as the tight leather jacket with matching pants helped emphasize the curves she did have. Of course, the wife-beater meant no bra but black was her favorite color and her breasts were modest enough to swing free without problems.
"Now they want her to have a mannish tone of voice and short cropped hair? And face piercings? Am I just going to play a total bull dyke stereotype now?"
"Got a problem with that, Darcy?~"
The sudden question in a breathy tone caused Beatrix to turn around, where Jessica Bling was standing with a well manicured hand on her generous hip.
"Look, I was willing to play opposite you, despite what the rumour mill says. But this is just too much!"
Bling smirked at the objection. She suspected the goth lesbian had taken the part for other reasons.
"Oh c'mon, Darcy. It's just another part, isn't it? So what if you got to 'dyke' it up a bit?~"
Beatrix's frown returned. This was going to be a long day...
