Kimi grabs her wand and looks for the perfect target, Elyse wasn’t in the class with her so she had to do it alone. She finds a boy with blonde hair. She decides to not focus the spell on anything in particular so she flicks the wand and it hits him.
It hits the kids hand, the hand starts to turn pale, really pale. It leads up his arm and spreads to his face until he is fully pale. His hair turns black and his ears start to point slightly, they grow longer as well. Then his teeth begin to sharpen, his canine teeth grow longer and especially sharp. His eyes, pupils mostly, turn completely black.
Another kid next to him nudges him and says, “Hey dude, you look a bit pale,” the kid looks at his hand and then raises it, he asks to go to the nurses office. He walks out the class getting a weird look about his hair from a girl. Kimi asks, “Can I go to the bathroom!?” Sort of spastically, the teacher says yes and she leaves the class also. She walks right past the bathroom and follows the kid. He instead of going to the nurses office goes to the boys bathroom. He then shrieks from within the door. Kimi sees this as a perfect chance to see what it actually did.
“Ahh!!”
“What’s wrong!?” Kimi bursts in,
“What the hell, my skin it’s.. and my teeth they’re.. and my hair.. and.. you’re a girl in the boys bathroom..”
“Well yeah, but you screamed I wanted to know what was wrong,”
“Well, I guess that—“
“So why are you so pale??”
“Uhm, it just happened in class, and look my teeth are sharp and.. and.. I’m a VAMPIRE!!”
“I guess you are,”
“What’s that in your hand,” the boy says pointing at her hand, Kimi looks down and realises she still has the wand in her hand, “You did this to me with that didn’t you!!”
“Well how could you know that..” she starts panicking, “Okay I’m sorry I didn’t mean to turn you into a vampire but isn’t it kind of cool how you’re a vampire and please don’t hurt me!!” She starts sobbing.
The boy hisses at her, “I’m not going to bite you but you have really annoyed me, actually you probably ruined my life.”
“Look I can try and fix it but I need to get my book from the classroom,”
“You have a magic book!!”
“Yeah, I can’t go back in and back out again, can you turn into a bat or something??”
“I haven’t even been a vampire for 10 minutes I haven’t quite got an idea of what to do and how to do it yet,”
“Well maybe you can think really hard and become a bat,”
“Alright I’ll try,” he closes his eyes and focuses really hard, he suddenly poofs into a black mist and in his place is a spider, “I’m a spider!!” His voice is a little squeaky,
“Okay now go get my book,”
The boy is gone for a few minutes, Kimi waits patiently. The spider boy manages to get himself to the back of the classroom and next to Kimi’s bag, luckily he retains his normal strength (which has also been heightened since being a vampire) and grabs the book with ease. Now he just need to get it to the other side of the classroom and out the door. He nips a pencil and spins himself a web like a rope and hooks it onto the book, the web is much stronger than a normal spiders web so it could easily pull the book over with one tug. He launched the pencil using his strong spider legs/arms. It hit Gerald in the forehead and he shouted, “Ahwh!!” Everybody looked over at him, even the teacher and the spider kid pulled the book over to him. He grabbed it and pulled it outside the classroom. He then made himself a boy, still vampire, and went into the toilet. Kimi was standing and saw him come in, “Oh great you found it!! You’re the best, uhh.. I don’t know your name,”
“Rodrick, but my friends call me Red,”
“Okay Red, let me just find a page on how to fix you,”
“You know what, I quite like being a vampire, it’s pretty cool.”
Kimi pops up surprised, “Really?? You sure,”
“Yup, totally okay with being a cool spider vampire boy,”
“Okay that’s fine by me,” she slams the book shut.
“Well, I’m going to get lunch with my friends, wanna sit with us,”
“Nah, I’m going to talk to my friend about this wand thing, you probably need to get them used to the vampire thing,”
“Yeah.. I forgot about that,”
Kimi sat with Elyse, Red sat with his friends, then the end of the day happened and Red approached Kimi, “Hey, were going to the park at 7 tonight, they all want to see the wand thing, so if you’re up for—“
“Hell. Yes!! I’ll bring Elyse, see you at 7,”
Kimi walked to the bus and sat with Elyse, they went back to their own houses and met at 6:45. Then they waited at the park for Red and his friends.
They all arrived and then began talking..
