It wasn't too long before the main event of October began. It was now officially time for Spookyville. This was generating a lot of publicity, especially for the tourists. "Because children jumping in fallen leaves is one of the 'traditions' of fall." answered Rick. "Also, I've heard that a long time ago, people who weren't exactly good neighbors toward each other would dump their leaves in their neighbor's yard."
"That doesn't make any sense." commented Clara
"Back then, people had ideas that we would now consider weird." acknowledged Rick.

Fall was also the time when Fall Fever started hitting Animalians the hardest. Fortunately, UFC-A was in place to keep male Animalians from hurting each other too bad. Also, the theme of "Boo Haw Haw" matched the general theme of Spookyville. It was something to watch two stag Animalians go at each other while dressed up as famous horror monsters.
