“Oh damn! Josh, I’m sorry,” Megan said, trying to clean up the stain on her shirt.
Josh only looked down at the spilled empty vial, mouth agape at the months of lost work. Megan saw the building anger on his face and tried to calm him down.
“I know you were working really hard on your science project...”
Before she could continue Josh snapped at her.
“Shut up!” he yelled, his face bright red. “Do you have any idea how expensive and time consuming that project was? It could have gotten me into any school, college or university I wanted. And you just set me back by months!”
Josh clenched his fists in rage.
Megan was taken aback at Josh’s outburst. Over the last seven years she had babysat Josh, Megan had never seen him get angry at her or anyone else. Despite still being in charge, Megan thought it was a far better idea to let him vent rather than discipline him.
After a moment of silence Megan saw Josh’s eyes begin to well up with tears. It made her feel awful. Josh had been like a kid brother to the 22 year old Megan. Without a second thought she took the young boy in her arms and gave him a consoling hug.
Josh’s tears ceased immediately. He stood in stunned silence as Megan held him against her.
“I’m really sorry, Josh. I’ll pay for everything you need to make another one,” Megan said, hoping it would make things better.
Josh had a crush on Megan for the past 2 years. He considered Megan to be his dream woman. Her long brown hair and green eyes were alluring. Being a cheerleader at the local community college, she was small, slender and beautiful. At only 5’2” Megan’s C-cup breasts looked that much larger. Josh rested his head on them.
Megan released Josh and went about cleaning up his chemistry station. She decided to give him some space.
Josh was the one who felt bad now. Megan had always been nice to him. He had scolded her because of an accident. A little ashamed, he slunk off to play video games in the living room.
As Megan cleaned she felt a warmth travel through her, but found it no more than a little odd. Finishing her work, Megan noticed that something wasn’t right ....
