Jeff decided to go up to sleep as well, and turned off the lights and TV as he went upstairs to brush his teeth. As he pushed his bedroom door open, yawning, he noticed the glow of his monitor in the dark room, almost calling to him. He shut the door quietly so as to not wake up his dad, and say down at his desk. There were so many options to change, so Jeff found it hard to choose where to start. After several minutes of scanning the page, he eventually decided to just start at the top and make his way down. He first decided to change ‘Nationality’ to ‘Australian’ and ‘Place of Birth’ to ‘Brisbane, Queensland, Australia’. Going off of this, he changed ‘Ethnicity/Race’ to ‘Aboriginal’, which automatically changed a few other options such as ‘Skin Colour’, ‘Hair Colour’, and some other minor body options. Jeff grinned to himself as he noticed ‘Sexual Preference’, which had the note ‘Scale of 1-10, with 1 being exclusively attracted to females and 10 being exclusively attracted to males.’ Jeff changed this from the 2 it was before to a 10, which caused a prompt to appear on screen. It read, ‘Reality to be altered, change relationship status of [SON] [JEFF] to [ADOPTED SON]?’ Jeff felt a little uneasy about this, but he thought it would probably be better to just be adopted rather than go through some strange changes himself through genetics. He clicked ‘Yes’ and moved onto ‘Residence’. Considering they currently lived in some bumfuck town in the Midwest, Jeff decided to change it to ‘Sydney, NSW, Australia’ to make a change from the usual scenery.
