Northridge Prep gained notoriety for its hard emphasis on academics. A boarding school, it invited its all-boys student population to come together and focus on growing.
It’s no secret to any of the students or the surrounding schools that Northridge Prep was full of students that came from rich families. No, they weren’t the only demographic that made up the population, but a good chunk of kids fit the description. Some described the air to be full of self-entitlement and confidence.
However, this air didn’t exactly translate in terms of athletics. The school barely supported the athletic programs in the past five years, resulting in a football team that was overall subpar, a swimming team that was almost nonexistent, and everyone deciding that cross country and track were the best teams to be on. In fact, those were the only sports available since the others were cut for budget reasons.
Uproar behind the scenes from the athletic directors got the school principal to change his mind and reintroduce other sports, like wrestling, baseball, basketball, rugby, and more. Some exceptional football players (who are able to do all of those sports) volunteered themselves to help the initiative.
Energized and motivated, they begin their mission. Who do they choose to change first?
