You were wandering around the fair, taking in all of the sights around you, when you suddenly bumped into someone. It was a tall redheaded woman who looked about college age, dressed in stylized armor with a fur cape and a prop sword slung over her shoulders. She backed up and looked you up and down appraisingly.
"Uh, sorry I walked into you," you said. "Didn't mean too. I'll, uh, just be going now."
"Oh, that's okay," the girl said. "My friends and I were just going off to have a LARP session nearby. You know what that is, right? Live-action role play?" You nod in acknowledgment; you've heard of that but never done it yourself. "Well, we're missing someone and I was looking for someone who'd be willing to fill in. You up for it?"
"Sure," you said. "But I have to admit I've never done this before. And I don't know anyone in your group. Is that okay?"
The girl smiled strangely and you felt a bit uneasy at the expression, but decided it was probably just your imagination. "Oh, that won't be a problem at all," she said. "Come with me!"
She led you to a tent near the edge of the fair. "Go on in and get changed into your costume," she said. "I'll be waiting out here and then we can go find the others, okay?"
