When the light faded MaKenna was staring blankly up at MaKenna. She was now five years old. Her medium length brown hair was now up in pigtails. Her outfit had changed from teen clothes to kiddie gown, with goodnights underneath. She was now sucking her thumb as a smile appeared behind her hand.
"Mia!!! What are you doing wif dat silly gun!" She giggled, legs slightly wiggling from the excitment.
Mia blinked. Guess the gun was a dud, nothing happened. No noise even. Bit of a let down to be honest. But she was glad it didnt. She was 10 years old and was lucky she was able to get a babysitting job at 10. If MaKenna's parents saw she was wet. She may never get another babysitting job for a while. Mia then set the gun down on the arm of the couch, paying no mind to set it down carefully with it being a pointless toy. She stepped behind MaKenna and took her place back on the couch behind the child in her care.
"Nothing sweetie. I thought it might be a fun toy but just turned out to be a dud!" She leaned forward and tickled MaKenna. MaKenna in turn giggles and squeeled.
Mia turned back to her original goal for going in the kitchen, the sippy cup for MaKenna. She leaned over and grabbed one of the cups of cocoa. Being as careful as possible, she poured the steamy chocolatey liquid into the sippy cup. She then gave MaKenna the sippy cup as the 5 yr old drank with joy.
The show continued on for a while, a scare here or there but surprisingly when Mia would casually slide her finger in the leg lining of MaKenna's goodnites, there was no soggyness. She was handling it like a champ.
"Wow MaKenna! I am surprised! You normally aren't this brave with scary shows"
Thats when
