Laura had to think quickly. She didn't want to lose her friends, even if that meant that they were stuck as animal people. She had to think but her knowledge of the situation was slowly coming back to her since she was stuck as a frog for a long while. She had to concentrate, just enough so she could focus on a plan.
Lucy just watched as Laura paced around the room. Laura was concerned. Lucy was concerned. All for different reasons. She couldn't see her friend act like this. She walked up to Laura and pounced on her side, dragging her closer towards her. "I *arf* have to go".
Laura was just shocked to hear what Lucy said. "No... no, don't say that. I need you here. We need to fix this".
"Maybe... maybe I don't want to fixed, master Laura, maybe this life is better. But I want to have this life with you *whine* and I know what that means. I am going to save Annie. *arf* Take care" Lucy jumped up and licked Laura on the cheek as a way of saying thank you if I don't come back. While a little grossed out, she was still somewhat human, she appreciated it and a single tear dropped from her eye.
Lucy ran up to where the owner was last "Hey *bark* Wanna play? *arf* *pant*". She could hear the footsteps of the owner so she immediately ran towards the noise.
Two had taken one for the team, one was still missing. Laura had to do something fast.
