The two of you get into the car, and head on out. Since he is the only one who has a driver’s license now, he drives, since you no longer have a license that matches what you look like now. As he drives, you notice that he seems to be taking a different path to the usual place you go for clothes.
“Where are we going, Walmart is the other way?” You ask.
“I tried Walmart earlier, they barely have much selection for clothes I like for girls. Hell, that skirt you are wearing now was actually a large in the kids' section.” He answered back, “We are going to the mall, there is a discount clothing store there that I am pretty sure has a better selection. Especially for someone who is as petite as you.”
“Wait, how are we going to pay for this. We don’t have the much money in savings, unless you count -. NOOO! Are you spending your vacation money on me? You can’t do that, I have, I mean, you have been saving that for months. ”
“Yep.”
“I can’t let you do that.”
“Would you prefer to wear the same exact set of clothes every day?”
“… no … ” you respond meekly.
“Besides, we can get some better income when you get your own job. Right? “
“Yea, but wait. How? I don’t exactly have a birth certificate that matches me now. How am I going to apply for a job, if I didn’t exist two days.”
“That… I don’t know. We will cross that bridge when we get there. Maybe the shop has something for clones. Anyway, we’re here, Kitty”
You arrive at the mall. Both of you dart to the discount clothing store, he hands you a couple hundred to spend and said to surprise him. You head over the to the women’s section, while he heads off to the men’s as he needed to replace a shirt that broke.
You spend what must be like hours on the shelves. You eventually buy about 10 sets of clothes, of various cute tops, skirts, a couple dresses, a skort for working out, couple nightgowns, two pairs of shoes, and some socks. Once you bought them, you change into one of the dresses you bought to surprise him.
The dress in question is a white floral sundress that reached down to ankles, and it is adorned with blue flowers around it. On top of that, you also were wearing a new pair of pink loafers and knee-high socks. On your head, while the ponytail was still there, instead of the impromptu rubber band you used, instead you had a proper hair tie keeping it in place. All in all, you look completely adorable.
Once done, you head out to the main portion of the mall to look for your boyfriend. Knowing him, there be two places that he would be at. The GameStop or the Cafe, knowing that he isn’t the type of person to eat alone when with a guest, you figured the GameStop. And low and behold, there he is. Checking what games are out, and asking about games coming out.
“Katherine? You look amazing in that.”
“Thank you.” You blush and give him a small hug. “Anything out, you like?”
“No, but take a look at what games they have for sale if anything catches your eye.”
Since you became a girl, he made it so that your tastes in games were a bit different than his. Eying, the pre-owned shelves you stop a game that catches your eye, Octopath Traveler, while Richard prefers more action games, the fact a more Story Driven RPG game seems to appeal to you more. “Hmm, this one”
He buys you the game, and you guys walk around the mall some more. He still had some money left to spend on you, he gets you a few books that you wanted to try, and a few beauty and feminine products that you going to need. You eventually, pass by costume store.
“Hey, that costume store is having a sale for the season. Are you thinking, what I am thinking?” he said. Giving a mischievous grin.
“I know what your thinking, and I don’t like that smile you've got on your face. You want me to put on a costume for you this weekend?” You said. “One condition. Nothing, completely ridiculous and nothing that makes me look out of a porn magazine. “
You head on in, while he checks the shelves. Meanwhile, you take look around the store. Half the store’s contents are gone since Halloween just ended, and everything is at least half off. The store would close about a week or two later, so now is the best time to get a costume for cheap. You notice a shelf full of animal ears, most of which are cat ears of various styles, some with fur, some just a wire frame, and some with an included tail.
Richard came back, holding a costume bag. The Costume in question was a maid costume from the Re: Zero anime. He noticed you looking at the shelf, and he said, “Pick one you like, Kitty”
You suddenly feel an urge to grab a pair of cat ear. He does like to call you Kitty, after all. Looking at the pair, you quickly decide against the ones with tails included, they are too big and the tail would make it annoying to sit down. The wire ones would just scratch your head. You eventually pick a headband with felt black fur on the top.
And with that, you two are done shopping for the day. As you are about to leave, you feel your stomach growling. “Can we get a bite to eat, I’m starving.”
