“Welcome to the Costume Emporium!” the man behind the counter said to two teenagers. “We have a special deal this week since Halloween is approaching! If you buy one head piece, wig, or mask, you’ll get the second one half-off!”
“See?” Jenny said as she poked Greg in the shoulder. “I told you! They’re having an awesome sale here at the store! We so have to buy our costumes from here this year!”
“Alright,” Greg said to her. “We’ll get something here. You know, I’ve never been here before to get a costume. Do they have anything good?”
“They have tons of things that are great here!” she smiled mischievously. “You’ll get a kick out of the stuff here on sale! I’ll show you where the headpieces, wigs, and masks are!”
Jenny led Greg over to the far side of the store and brought him into the aisle that had all the head stuff in it. There were masks of all kinds, ranging from vampires to video game characters, wigs of all colors, and head pieces such as dog ears, bandanas, and tiaras.
“Wow,” Greg said looking at everything. “You’re right. There are a lot of things here. It could take me forever just to decide what I wanted to be with all these varieties.”
“Don’t worry,” Jenny said, grabbing something from the shelves. “I already have a great idea for what you can wear!”
