Laura thanked Justin for his kind offer but seemed reluctant to move despite her tiredness. It was clear something was weighing heavily on her mind.
"You seem like there is more you need to talk about" Justin offered.
"Yeah, it's just that I kind of promised the others I'd support them as they obviously can't work now. But the fact is neither can I. I mean, one wrong word from a colleague and I'd just transform in the middle of the office. I'm not sure it's really safe for me to do anything"
"Like I said, I'll support you and your friends" Justin seemed to mean it.
"No offense, but do you really think you can provide for six people long term? It's just not possible."
Justin sighed, knowing Laura was right.
"Ok, well then we have to think of another solution" Justin proposed.
"Like what?" Laura asked with genuine hope.
