I looked over the list of choice animals and after some discussion Frank seemed a little put out with me that I had such trouble in choosing. I liked horses as many people do, yet from past wok I'd done the beef producing cattle had some interest too. I never was a hunter and therefore had little or no care for those animals bred for such use. He made mention of how many of the guests were interested by the Donkeys and or the ponies bred for sale there on the farm.
Fram and mary were coming back up the walk and still I'd not given my preference in any paticular line or breed of animal.
We were then loaded onto a golf cart looking like a surry carriage complete with yellow fringe around the top. A short ride to the condo area had Mary looking at me with a worried sort of look. Her concerns were due to Frank making his thoughts known to Fran as of my narrow minded ways. He of course was talking of and about the fact I just could not choose on the spot which section of the farm I prefered. I told Mary that whateven I choose was to be and remain my part in the farm. It was because of this demand and as if it being so very final that I precieved to think about it overnight.
The condo area was very park like and seemed to meet every possible desire a retired man or woman could want. A game area to one side as picnic tables were grouped under three huge spreading Maple trees. Shuffle Board courts, Tennis courts, even a special area set up to play chess with the boards custom set into two person type tables near the lake. They had hobby interests too including for someone like me an outdoor model railroad running through a garden setting. Mary squeezed my hand her feelings that we had made an excellent choice in coming to Sunrise Retirement Farm.
