In a lowly apartment room downtown, sound was almost nonexistent except for the careful sounds of pages being turned.

The room was filled with nothing but reading material ranging from books, magazines, comics, and manga. They covered all sorts of topics from love and fortune, to horror and death.

The sole occupant of the room, adull woman by the name of Sarah, had already read most if not all of her collection.

She closes the book she was reading. Content to have completed it again. Boredom begins to strike her and she starts searching for a new book to read.
"Hello?"
Shock and bewilderment. That was not Sarah speaking. Who was it? Where did it come...
"Over here!"
Sarah turns to her left and sees her kitchen shelf. Specifically her jar of candy and sweets that she normally eats at times while she reads. Except, there wasn't any candy inside the clear glass jar. Instead a little person was inside. A little girl garbed in pink tights all over. She had gotten stuck inside the jar with her butt clearly too large for the jar. To be fair to the 5 inch person, Sarah did order a special jar with a small hole so as to dissuade accidentally using her whole hand to grab the sweets. But even so, the idea of her ass getting her stuck because it had 'too much junk' amused her so much she began to chuckle for a moment.
"Dont laugh at me! I am the embodiment of all that is inevitable! I am the omega to this world's alpha! I am dea... WOAhhhh!"
Sarah lifts the jar so as to be eye level with her guest. On closer inspection, she has long pink hair (relative to herself) and insect like wings. Sorta like a fairy of sorts.
"Why are you in my candy jar?"
"The matters of beings like my self are above the concerns of mortals like yourself. Hmph."
She crosses her arms like in a dignified 'holier then thou' manner that was totally not at all undercut by her feet flailing and her ass only having thin tights for modesty.
Totally...
Sarah places the jar on a flat surface and shakes it about. Careful enough to avoid hurting her or setting her free, but strong enough to make her point clear.
"Kyaaaah!"
Sarah stops suddenly.
"Ready to talk now?"
"On second thought... you are worthy mortal to know my intentions."
Sarah glared.
"In short, I have a big job I need to do and I'm in hiding. I like sweets so I figured I'd be able to get a candy or two quietly. Didn't quite work."
Sarah, her glare devolving into half open eyes of dull surprise, groans.
"What job could you have to justify theft?"
"Ending the world."
...
"What?"
"Its true. I told you, or tried to anyway who I am. I am death!"
"WHAT?!"
"Yeah i know, I'm not the cloak and skeleton you were expecting, but he only gets call for major jobs. I'm what you would call a death intern."
"Why wouldn't ending the world be considered a major job?! Also, and I must stress this, WHAAT!"
"How about you let me out and I promise to fill you in proper."
Sarah grabs her legs and pulls gently the legs of tiny death until she gets out.
"Ok, so here's the thing. I need to kill 500 thousand people, and I must do it in a way to shake up the status quo of the world. Something like growing into a giant and crushing everyone or creating an STD."
She pauses.
"I was hungry and really hate killing so it's hard on me."
"You can't end the world!"
"Don't worry. I won't. Afterall, you'll be doing that for me."
"Oh no"
"Consider it a thank you gift and apology. now yo get to survive armageddon."
"I've never killed anybody, how could I end the world?"
"Ready? 3..."
"2..."
"What's going on...?"
"1..."
"Wait!"
"Enjoy! ;3"
A blinding light fills the room.
