Thankfully the journey back to Justin's was relatively short and Laura had managed to keep the conversation away from anything animal related for the duration.
"Ok thanks a lot for the lift, you're a lifesaver"
"No problem at all" Sabrina smiled to try and mask her concern "Just so long as everything is ok"
"It's fine, honestly. Right, i'd better get in and get dressed"
As Laura ran into the house Sabrina sat and waited a while. If something was amiss it was better she stuck around to help out. Sure enough, moments later a still naked Laura came rushing back out of the house flagging down Sabrina while clinging to a book of some sort.
"I'm sorry, I need your help again" Laura panted as she climbed back into the passenger seat.
"Don't you want to get dressed first?" a baffled Sabrina asked.
"There's no time. My friends have gone to look for me. We have to find them quickly"
"Why? This is a pretty safe area? What aren't you telling me?" Sabrina was starting to look quite vexed.
"I'm sorry, it's too complicated to explain. You just have to trust me" Laura had given up being polite to this virtual stranger. This was too important and she didn't need to know.
"Look, I'm sorry, I'm not taking you anywhere. Why are your friends in danger, why are you naked and why is that book so important?"
Laura sighed, she didn't have time for this.
