Ty swung open the feather-light door of the sub shop and stepped inside. He was hit by the familiar scents of fresh bread and sandwich ingredients. His stomach growled. He felt like he could eat everything in the shop. He felt big.
He strode to the counter, admiring how small everything and everyone seemed to him now. In the past, he might have slouched a bit and fought off a faint bit of anxiety about talking to the women at the counter. Now, he felt as though he owned the store. He feared nothing. There was nothing to be afraid of, after all. He could do anything, and he was feeling that power more and more as the day went on.
The attractive young woman taking orders looked up at him, and he thought he heard her gasp. "Uh," she said. "Welcome, can I take your order?"
"Yeah," Ty said, casually resting his meaty hands on the counter. I'd like to order 3 foot-long subs."
"Okay," she said and paused to quickly glance at his muscular arms. "What would you like on them?"
Ty explained his order as she went about filling his sandwiches. She stumbled occasionally as she kept losing focus on her work as she glanced back at him. When it came time for him to pay, he had a moment of worry when he realized that the order was more expensive than he had expected. Then, he smiled and made a quiet wish to have a hundred dollars worth of twenties in his pocket. He handed her the money, making sure to leave a generous tip.
"Have a nice day," she said, handing him his change back with a wide smile.
He smirked back and gave her a wink. "See you later," he said.
She smiled even wider. When Ty turned away, he even though he heard her giggle slightly.
As Ty walked to a table, he marveled at how much the young woman at the counter was hot for him. She wanted him. He could get her number. There was no doubt she would go out with him. She probably was thinking about going to bed with him. She would do it with him. She might do just about anything for him.
As he unwrapped his sandwich, his mouth watered. He took a bite of his sandwich and considered the many options that were open to him as he chewed. He could hook up with anyone, not just cute sub shop girls and boys. He could live anywhere. He could do anything. The possibilities were so incredible that he started to feel a bit scared of himself. It was all so overwhelming when he thought about it.
He finished his first sandwich and decided to give himself some advice. "Take it slow," he told himself before wiping his lips with a napkin. "Try something small first, like with the guys and the weights. Something simple. Something small."
He looked around the sub shop and thought about all the varied customers in there with him. Old, young, male, female, big and small, so many different people. It was the start of the lunch rush, and a line was forming. When he looked over at all the food at the counter and the employees making sandwiches, an idea came to him. He might do some magic with the food. That could be fun.
