The Magic Shop

A Women's Bookstore

added 4 years ago BM TG O

Based on what you've just witnessed, it seems to have raised an interesting phenomenon. When you change the light at a store, anyone who is changed by it will not become an incredibly sexy woman, but specifically the sort of woman who would want to shop at that store - those changed at Victoria's Secret ended up looking like underwear models, while those changed at the Foot Locker became beautiful female athletes. You wondered what sort of changes might happen at other sorts of stores.

Not far from the Foot Locker was a small independent bookstore. Walking up to it, you decided it would do nicely, and conveniently, there was an unremarkable-looking guy browsing near the front. Taking your flashlight, you shone the pink light all around the inside, being careful to hit the entire store and all the lights inside. At once, you notice the changes begin. The bookstore itself became a feminist bookstore, while the books changed to become focused on gender and women's issues, or fiction aimed at female audiences; advertisements shifted from promoting male authors to female ones, while all the book covers that you saw featuring men changed to feature women instead.

The browsing guy blinked as the light hit him; you watched him loose several inches in height as his brown hair suddenly cascaded down to mid-back. His jeans twisted together to become a long denim skirt pulled tight in back by a pleasingly rounded rear while his shoes became sandals that left newly-painted toenails exposed. His t-shirt shifted into a ruffled white blouse, the top few buttons of which were left undone to reveal an ample cleavage. His - her - face became winsomely pretty, and a pair of large, round glasses appeared around her eyes.

The new woman paused and shook herself, brushing her long hair past her ear in a quite fetching way, and then she picked up her book - which now appeared to be a lesbian romance novel. Sighing dreamily, she turned to take it deeper into the bookstore to pay for it, her skirt swishing with the movement of her hips as she did so. As she left, you could see that all the other customers and staff had also transformed into attractive, bookish women. Everyone was chatting casually with each other, and no one seemed to have noticed any change.

So it seemed your hypothesis about how changing lights in different stores changed the people in them was correct. What should you do now?
