to learn that the kids knew about your great great granddads expedition in the 1920s
to find Fafnir the Dragons lost rheingeldenstone .You were of course named after great great granddad Alfred Carlysle the First
you being Alred Carlysle the Third
but beyond your family and some of your cousins,generally none of your
schoolchums knew of the connection between you and the now forgotten Carlysle Expedition .
However the dragon kids knew about it,as did their parents and aunts and uncles.
They also knew that your great great granddads Expedition had
failed to find
Fafnir the Dragons Tomb,where the Rheingeldenstone was rumpured to be hidden,
So the lot of you got to chatting there in the sandpits and you discovered that the dragon people community had recently placed bets on whether Fafnir had once been a dwarf or a giant before becoming a dragon.
There was big money riding on those bets and since the only way to answer the question was to find Fafnir's Tomb
the dragons were mounting a new Expedition,a century after Alred Carlysle had failed to find the Tomb.However that long ago Expedition had found clues to where
the Tomb was located and the dragon people wanted a human in on the Expedition.
