“Okay, class - listen up. Tomorrow we will be working in the chemistry lab. So, I need you to bring a small piece of animal tissue. Nothing special, just fur, scales... really anything that contains DNA,” said the teacher, raising his finger.
“And remember - I am not bringing you into the lab just to let you sleep on the table. Consider it...an exam.”
Julia sighed.
“Perfect...another way to torture us,” she said, flipping her pen.
The teacher snorted after hearing Julia's comment.
“Okay, that's enough for today. You are all excused...except for Miss Julia,” the teacher said, smiling.
“Damn,” Julia said. She stood up and walked in front of the teacher, while the others were walking out of the room.
The old man sighed.
“I don't know what to do with you Julia...you sleep in class...you rarely do your homework...the exams will kill you if you don't change,” he said, sitting on his chair.
Julia snorted while scratching her head.
“Everything is going to be alright. I won't fail,” she said, trying to sound convinced...even if Julia was anything but sure.
The old man sighed.
“You are just like a sleeping dragon in their cave, guarding a treasure that no one will ever look for. You can go now...I have something better to do,” he said, opening a book.
Julia walked away, confused by the old man's words.
“Sleeping dragon...obviously he ran out of insults,” she said while walking through the deserted hallways.
