Mary Elise and Sasha were taking a short break from their search, mostly so Mary Elise could show Sasha a few tricks with the Ring of Transformation where they wouldn't be seen. "So, what all can the ring change?" asked Sasha.
"As far as I know, pretty much everything," said Mary Elise, "I don't think it can affect true age, but it could make you look older or younger. You can change people into animals and inanimate objects or go only halfway."
"Can you change animals and objects into humans?" asked Sasha.
"I haven't tried that," said Mary Elise, "It ought to do the same with plants, but I haven't done that either."
"But you can make a human like someone completely different," said Sasha.
"Oh, absolutely," said Mary Elise, "I used it to change my Samantha's race and back."
"You can do different races, eh?" asked Sasha thoughtfully before thinking hard. It didn't look like was changing at first but then Mary Elise noticed she was getting a little shorter. Then she saw Sasha's facial features changing a lot, her eyes becoming almond shaped as her cheekbones became less refined. Before long, Sasha looked like an Asian woman. "Wow, that worked better than I expected," said Sasha, her voice also sounding a little different. But then she looked at her chest and noticed her breasts were down to B cups. "Oh, right. I forgot that Japanese women have smaller breasts." She focused and her breasts soon were back to D cup size. "That's more like it," she said, hefting her bosom up for a second.
"Out of curiosity, why make yourself Japanese?" asked Mary Elise.
"Well, what are Mika's parents like in your world?" asked Sasha.
"They're pretty nice," said Mary Elise, "Pretty understanding."
"Well, that's not what they were like here at first," said Sasha, "They were pretty bigoted about non-Asian people and when they first learned their daughter was bi, they threw her out of the house."
"Really?" asked Mary Elise in shock.
"Yeah, thankfully Mika had her Aunt Kumiko to stay with," said Sasha.
"Kumiko is Mika's twin in my world," said Mary Elise.
"Huh, I can almost imagine that," said Sasha, "Anyways, later we tried to give Mr. and Mrs. Tozawa a better perspective by making them younger. Things kinda got out of hand when Mika's dad got interested in me and we made ourselves older to go on a date. I nearly wound up as Mika's mother."
Mary Elise gaped and said, "That was the last thing I would have expected."
"You know, I might have even wanted to stay that way, but I'm not bi and apparently Mika gets her bisexuality from her mom. So if I became her mom, that would mean that Mika and Claudia would break up," said Sasha.
"Wow," said Mary Elise, "So you made yourself Japanese because you wondered what you'd be like as her mom?"
"Call it racial curiosity," said Sasha, "I might be part Caucasian because of these." She indicated her D cup breasts.
"Well, as fascinating as this has been, we really need to keep looking," said Mary Elise, "So change yourself back and let's go."
"Just a moment," said Sasha, "Morgan le Fay is likely to be here, right?"
"I hope she is," said Mary Elise darkly.
"Yes, but I think we should be the ones getting the drop on her, not the other way around. So we probably ought to change ourselves so she won't recognize us," said Sasha.
Mary Elise thought it over and said, "That's not a bad idea. She would definitely know I'm here to stop her if she sees me."
"Then you better look like someone else," said Sasha.
"Yes I should," said Mary Elise before starting up her ring.
