As Jeff's mom began to type, he saw her changing. Her breasts shrank, and her hair receded into her head. After about a minute, Jeff stood there looking at his old self.
"Wait," Jeff said, still a bit surprised to be hearing his mother's voice as he spoke, "Don't be me!"
"You're me," the new Jeff replied, "So why can't I be you?"
"You haven't been a teenager in years, I don't think you can handle it again, let alone being a boy this time. That, and I don't want you screwing with my social life." Jeff began reaching for the Chronivac, when his mom began typing again. Jeff blinked a couple of times, then began walking out the door.
"I just came up to tell you dinner will be ready in about an hour, honey, so don't spend much longer on that computer," he said.
"Yeah, okay," 'Jeff' said, with a smirk.
