It was a couple of hours before the game but Jake left. He had mastered the mascot game in five minutes before and there wasn't any reason for him to practice. He got on the bus still wearing the mask from his costume and rode it until it took him back to his house.
He got home and thankfully his parents and the maid were all gone. His mom and dad were never home. They wouldn't be at the game and they wouldn't know anything about his day until late in the evening.
Jake questioned in his mind whether the last few changes would make him unrecognizable to his parents. Some of the changes people had said words like "Always" and "Everybody knows" but he still didn't have a clue what it would mean.
Now he was a horse man. Hooves, tail, cock, and but with a human head and body. Would the people in his life recognize him? Would they even care. Jake was starting to realize more and more that people only wanted him for what they could get out of him.
Jennifer, a quick fix for a problem. Ben a good laugh at his expense. Coach and the principal a win on the books. His parents, a star athlete to post on Facebook about but never really watch. Hell, even Mrs. Harrison used him as an excuse for being such a shitty teacher.
Jake got into his father's liquor cabinet. He started drinking. He sucked himself off a couple times on the living room couch leaving a mess that would at least be noticed. About five drinks in, he realized that he needed to get to the game.
