"Another dragon shirt? Really?" the young girl named Shelly, probably in her early twenties, asked her companion who had just walked out of a store in the mall with his prize.
"Yeah. And don't act like you don't like them as well," her boyfriend chuckled, while admiring both her beauty and the beauty of the beast that was on his newly bought shirt.
"Yeah, they're cool and all, but I'm not obsessed like you are. Still, it'd be nice to have one as a pet or something," she said to him, as she walked around the almost-vacant mall, arm in arm.
"Pet!? Dragons are masters of the land, sea, and most importantly sky! How can you even think of being able to tame one and treat it like just some animal? You'd be lucky if you didn't end up one of their pets!" the young gentleman laughed.
"Yeah, but they're not real. And even if they were, how the hell would you expect them to fly? That's like getting a whale to fly!" Shelly argued, though she did have a valid point.
"That's easy - whales bodies aren't equipped to fly, while dragons are. Just look at airplanes. They fly, right?" the boy argued back.
"Yeah, sure. You're right, as always," Shelly said sarcastically.
She had been in this argument so many times. And she still had no luck convincing him that the 'rule of cool' doesn't actually apply. But hell, best to let a boy dream, right?
Still walking though the mall, the boy spotted a small shop that seemed to be full to the ceiling with dragon statues and other paraphernalia. So of course he walked right in, dragging Shelly behind him.
