"Says here that you wanted a pet dragon. Well...here you go. Enjoy," the wizard said laxly.
"Pet dragon ... what do you mean?" the boy asked, looking up at both of them. Then it finally dawned on him. "Wait a minute - how come you guys are so big!?"
"We're not big. You're tiny. Really tiny, like nine inches long," Shelly said to him, picking him up in the process. He tried to say something, but he just kept stuttering, not finding the words.
"Well, you said you wanted to be a dragon and fly. And you wanted a pet dragon. Everyone wins!" the wizard exclaimed.
"Why am I not big and powerful though!? I should be fifty feet tall, like a giant beast! Like a real dragon!" the boy exclaimed.
"Get real, kid. Something that big could never fly without engines. Like I said, it has to work in the physical world. Well, mostly. I have no idea what it did with all your extra mass. Either way, you're a dragon and you can fly. Be happy. And now, young lady, you have your very own exotic pet."
