For the first couple of days, she sat there bored in the middle of the woods. She could only move her head as the wish had strictly made her immobile in the ground. It had also rained which she put a slight damper on her mood as she had no cover from the rain. She felt the rainwater trickle to her body and absorb it, making her body tingle. At night, she closed her eyes as she now lived on photosythesis her body went to sleep to conserve energy.
On the fourth day, she felt her toes start to tingle. She figured her toes were starting to become roots which would start absorbing nutrients in the soil to cause her to grow. Over the couple of days as the rains came and went, the water dripped onto her roots as they grew longer. Soon enough she felt her legs begin to merge, first at her ankles and then at her legs. Though it seemed like it had been weeks she still felt most of her body was human and she felt as strong as ever.
Soon enough she saw some of the leaves had begun to change colors, indicating it was fall. Soon the snows would come and she would probably be asleep for most of it. Unless she was turning into an evergreen tree which would be interesting to be covered in snow.
The sun began to drop lower and lower every day, she spent more time sleeping as her body slowly solidified into bark. By the time the first snow storm appeared, she had felt everything below neck had turned into wood.
