Noah looked around another minute to see what he could change. His father was reading something about work, which Noah knew because of the serious look he had and the fact that he was using his glasses. Phil was no longer sitting and was walking around trying to get a cookie early and was doing an awful job at hiding that fact. Noah was sitting at the end of the table and his mother and Stacy were sitting across from each other talking.
"So the first guests should be arriving soon." His mom continued.
"Yeah." Stacy said nonchalantly. "Sucks that more couldn't come or whatever." She said.
"Now I'm sorry about that and the less gifts but money is a little tight right now that's all." His mom said, while Stacy just started texting on her phone rudely.
Noah was confused at first, until he remembered his lavish new room. The computer, the crazy amount of dresses in his closet, the bed, it was all much more than he had ever had. He glanced down at his boobs and squeezed them sadly. "Even the underwear is more." He thought as he felt the bra he had on. Not only was he a girl, but since they cared about him more being their actual child and all, they spent much more money on him. Because of this, the fact that they had 5 kids was starting to catch up.
Noah felt a little guilty since he was causing their money problems. Normally Noah would have been ok with this outcome since they kind of got what they deserved for being a dick to him, but his new girl form came with a bit more sympathy, so Noah started trying to think of what to do. "Make someone else adopted? No I couldn't give anyone else my old fate. Make someone else a pet? No that's too cruel. Oh I got it!" He thought as he finally wrote down "Margaret is pregnant with Stacy."
Reality seemed to swirl again as vertigo hit Noah. It wasn't as bad as last time but Noah still hated it. When his mind cleared he could finally see if the journal was consistent. His father had left the room and his mother and sister were nowhere to be seen. Noah was worried that change someone erased them or something until he noticed the decorations. There was a lot more and it was all nicer than before. The door bell went off and out from another room walked Noah's mom. Except of course, she was now many months pregnant!
She was holding her back as she opened the door and in walked some friends of Tina. Margaret chatted while Noah smirked. Stacy wasn't born yet, which hopefully put an ease on they bank account. Noah walked over and shut the door for his mother and walked her to the couch. She sighed.
"Honestly Natalie you and Steven are too into helping me believe me I'm fine." She said.
"Yeah, okay mom." Noah said in disbelief. He brushed his ginger hair out of his face and smiled. "Look just humor me ok? Maybe we feel bad about what you're doing through? Or maybe we just care so humor me. Any names yet?"
"Well," She replied. "if it's a boy, I'm thinking Tyler, and if it's a girl, I'm thinking Emily."
"Really, not Stacy?" Noah said slightly concerned.
"Ugh have you been talking to your father? He wants Stacy but I don't know about that name. Sounds a little too "Bratty teenager" to me."
Noah tried not to chuckle as "bratty teenager" was basically what Stacy was. Maybe this time around she'd be different since she'd be growing up in a new decade with different friends and a new family dynamic. So what was the harm in having a new name with it?
"I think Emily is a fantastic name." Noah replied cheekily.
"Thank you sweetie." She replied happily. "Alright. Today isn't about me and it's not about the baby this is about Tina. More guests are coming so let's get ready."
Noah smiled as he helped his pregnant mother get off the couch and to the living room table.
