Evie and Emily got dressed quickly and stepped outside, lighting up. Emily found it quite awkward to hold her cigarette now she only had two chunky hoof-fingers but she was just going to have to get used to it.
"So I should probably explain what's happening to us" Emily started.
"Wait you know why this started?!" Evie asked, slightly excitedly.
Emily explained about the app on her phone, and that how when she referred to someone as an animal, it triggered their changes. She opened up the app to show Evie how it was tracking everyones progress

"So this is everyone you've started to change?" Evie asked.
"Yea, some accidentally when I first got the app, but now I know people won't look at us any differently while we change, I stopped feeling guilty about changing people so I did it to Tom and Melissa on purpose" Emily explained.
"Can we change some people now?" Evie asked.
"I guess so, it just depends who"
"Can you make Aaron turn into a cat too? We can't be twins if we're not the same breed!" Evie asked desperately.
Emily hesitated a little. She thought it was a little odd that her twin was her first choice.
"Well I guess if two of the three of us are already changing, it won't make much difference if he does too. Aaron is a cat"
The app instantly updated, listing Aaron Carr below Evie's name, at 1%.
"How come some of you are so much higher percent than others?" Evie wondered.
"I think it's an urges or craving thing. Obviously all of our sex drives have increased massively, and the more we give in to that the more changes we go through. Diet too. I only feel content eating grass or veg bits now, and I think that helps move it along. I've also been smoking way more too, but maybe that's just because I was addicted before the change and now it's just hugely amplified." Emily brainstormed.
Evie lit up again and sat there quietly, deep in thought.
"I'll be back in a sec...I'm just gonna go...eat something now" Emily said awkwardly, feeling a little embarrassed.
She clopped across the concrete and onto the grass, then got down on her knees and started to pull grass out of the ground with her teeth.
Evie didn't say anything, just intently watching as she smoked.
Each mouthful felt warm in her belly, as she mooed sometimes while chewing. Emily found her mind wandering.
'it would be so nice to just do this all the time...live outdoors, completely naked, just spending the day eating grass, and being fucked...' she thought. Memories of friends and family slipped away temporarily as she fantasized about this new life, mooing contently to herself.
"Em are you okay?" Evie asked.
Emily snapped back to reality, realising she'd been wandering around the garden on all four hooves mooing into the air. She got back onto her hind legs and sat back down with Evie.
"Can we try changing those guys we just had over?" Evie asked.
"I guess so, did you have something in moond?"
Evie laughed at her sisters moo-slip.
"Shut up okay I can't help it, I feel like it's getting worse" Emily snapped. Evie stopped laughing and went back to her request.
"Well if you're a cow, and cows are typically female, and Eli is a bull, which is a male cow, what would happen if you tried to change a guy into a cow?" Evie asked.
"I dunno, let's find out. Lucas is a cow, Mike is a bull." She said at her phone.
It updated again instantly.

"Huh, maybe it does." Evie said.
"If it worked like we think it did, today probably isn't going to be the last day they're seeing each other naked" Emily joked. The pair laughed.
"Do you think we're still gonna be part human when the changes are done?" Evie asked.
"What, like physically or moontally?"
"Either I guess. Will you still think like your current cow-you or will you just think like a cow? Or will you still look part human part cow, or will you just completely become a cow?" Evie explained.
Emily instantly thought about where her mind went when she was just eating grass. It worried her a little. 'What if I am going to stop being me, and just become a cow?'
"I think we'll still be us" Emily said, not really sure if she herself believed it right now.
Evie didn't say anything. She finished her cigarette and stood up.
"I'm gonna go lay down for a bit I think. This was all quite a lot to take in" she said, heading over to the door.
"Yea I might do the same in a bit" Emily said, lighting up one more cigarette for herself.
Her phone vibrated with a text message. It was from Nate.
'Hey Em, theres a farm/fair/show thing on tomorrow, wanna go with me?'
Emily couldn't help but laugh at his ridiculous suggestion, but it also kind of called out to her. She replied, agreeing to meet him at 10am.
Emily then typed out another text.
'Hey wanna come over? I think we've got a lot to catch up on'. She sent it to Kate.
After a few minutes she replied.
'ill be there in a little while, just at Eli's at the mo ;) ill be over after'.
Emily stared at the message, feeling a little betrayed. Why was Eli not sending Kate away?!
Emily finished her cigarette and stormed inside.
