“Have you heard? This Saturday night someone organized an exclusive party, some kind of multiple blind dates where in the beginning the boys and girls are kept separate from each other, then they intermingle when the music starts in a romantic ball fitted with mask and everything if you so desire! The tickets are already selling like crazy”
Amanda couldn’t help the excitement from showing as she conversed with her two friends “And guess what? I was able to gain tickets for our group very cheaply, the girl who sold me is a dear family friend. So what do you think girls, are you in or are you in?” Amanda asked with an impish smile as she flapped the admissions before them, only for the other two girls to reach without hesitation and pluck the gifts from her hand.
Diana observed the ticket with a raised eyebrow “’Find the stud of your dreams’… A bit corny, but a good catchphrase for an event like this”
Emma, the last of the trio, covered her mouth and giggled “Come now Diana, we all know your abysmal luck with males, this is the perfect opportunity to find a boyfriend for you. With our help this will be a breeze, I guarantee it!”
Diana smiled good naturedly and rolled her eyes before answering with a perfect deadpan “You and your unhealthy interest in my love life… And If I remember correctly you left your boy-toy last week, so little Emma is in the same situation as me and Amanda now…”
“Yes, exactly! So shall we choose out our clothes together or surprise each other? This party could be the best event of this year!” The three teenagers continued to debate among each other, making plans and waiting with bated breath for a night they felt will be special.

In the small town rumors of the party spread quickly, as young girls and boys haggled for the limited amount of spots open, while the ones already owning a pass centered all their focus on luxurious clothes.
All the rich kids were able, in one way or the other, to obtain one of the sought admissions and proceed to gloat with everyone they knew about their participation. Before long this event was known to the entire population as a social gathering every ‘cool and popular kid’ attended, lured by the assurance of no adult supervision bar the organizers.
Some concerned parents event went to the planner with their worries for hormonal teenagers alone in a restricted space, but she confirmed that all the guest would be controlled and well taken care of.
Of course, what the organizers and the parents meant by ‘well taken care of’ was very different, as the guest would find out in the building.

“Here you go, miss. Enjoy the night” The usher gave back the ticket and set aside the red satin rope allowing Emma to join her two friends already inside, that waved at her excitedly.
“Sorry about my lateness, mom basically grilled me again into what I can or can’t do here… A bit annoying if I say so myself. So, what did I miss?” The three teenagers were all shined up, they wore all a dress that brought out their beauty and grace, without being too revealing. A quick glance around showed that every female present tried their best to shine, some with elaborate outfits or hairstyles, some trying to bet anything on originality, while the most daring gambled into more revealing dresses to entice the boys.
The room was simple yet elegant, other than the main entrance that even now accepted guests there was only one other exit, most likely to the previously mentioned ballroom. Many great clay vases of various colors adorned the hall, all filled with fresh flowers that gave the room a pleasant smell, while in the center a wide table with a large reception was at the disposal of the guests.
“You missed almost nothing” Amanda interjected “The woman that organized this event made a brief appearance and told us to dine now, because inside there are no refreshment whatsoever besides drinks. Me and Diana already sampled the food, do you want anything? I suggest the grilled potatoes, before the others finish all the servings, most of the girl had our same idea and waited to eat something until now”
“I will not refuse a good drink tonight, this is certain” The minutes passed as the guest chatted between themselves, and after a while the last teen with a ticket stepped over the entrance.

“All accounted for? Even the boys?” Asked a woman with short raven hair and aristocratic features as the ushers started to close the gates.
“Yes madam, everyone arrived within the timetable, and we found no additional problems or hold-ups”
“Excellent. Take care of locking the gates well, tonight no one else is getting in or out without my say so” The woman smiled as she toyed with a small black remote, her personal device to trigger remotely the effects of a certain serum her trusted assistants dosed into the food and drinks served “Not that those teenagers will be able to open the doors afterward, but it’s better to be prepared. Shall we finally greet our esteemed guests?”
