You sit on your bed trying to decide what to do next and what the best course of action is to get the keys back. Then it hits you Keith and Pat are still out in the apartment roaming around, you can get them to get the keys for you. As you move over to the door you question how if you are part of the Bell's family now then where do Keith and Pat fit in. The only logical answer is that they have become the family's pets.
You slowly crack open your door and peer out into the apartment. You can see Lincoln and Levi sitting in the living room playing, and you hear the muffled sounds of Mr. And Mrs. Bell in their room talking. "Keith, Pat come here", you whisper hoping that the two can hear you with their advanced canine hearing. You hear the jingle of collars and are thankful that they heard you. You didn't want to have to call for them any louder and risk being heard.
Suddenly you see Keith bounding around the corner, tongue flapping out of the side of his mouth as he runs to you. Keith eagerly slips through the crack in your door and tackles you to the floor. Happily Keith begins to lick every inch of your face until you finally shove him off of you complaining, "Gross dude, you need you control your urges." As Keith sits there panting, tail eagerly wagging behind him you turn back to the door and look for Pat but seen no sign of him.
"I guess Pat didn't hear me", you say as you close the door so you can talk to Keith a little louder. "Oh well I guess that you can handle this by yourself", you say to Keith who continues to sit there wagging his tail. "Ok dude, I lost the keys and Mr. Bell has them now", you start explaining to Keith. "Since I am only 12 now I can't over power him to get the keys back. Which is why I need you to find the keys and bring them back to me. Then I can try fixing you, Pat and myself."
As you finish explaining the objective to Keith you notice at he is still giving you that blank goofy doggy grin. "Hopefully you will be able to overcome your dog urges and take care of this for me", you worriedly tell Keith. You then pat Keith on the head and he licks your cheek. You then open your door again and say, "Forgive me for this dude, but it too funny not to say it. Fetch!"
