It has been three days since your fate was sealed.
3 days since you were made the guardian of the Mary go round by having your legs removed and your torso permanently attached to an inanimate white metal unicorn. Effectively making you into a carousel centaur. But with a golden painted metal horn coming out of your forehead.
And man was it boring.
Nobody’s come to ride the Mary go round since you were attacked to it.
Nobody’s tried to vandalize it.
Nobody’s even gotten close enough to hear your secreams for help.
All you do is sit there, unable to move your body from the waist down, were the white metal perfectly fuses to your new six pack, were the unicorns head used to be.
You sigh.
And now it started to rain.
It rained yesterday to.
And it would probably rain tomorrow, you have no way to check, since your phone was in your pocket...
AND NOW YOUR A METAL HORSE STATUE FROM THE WAIST DOWN!
You lean back and repeatedly hit your head on the metal bar through your horse half.
It’s all you could do to forget the freezing wind and rain going against your shirtless muscles. It was nice of the old man to give you a ripped body. But that doesn’t redeem him to attach your waist to a metal unicorn statue.
KA CHOOOO
Just then you hear thunder. You stop banging your head and look around. Seeing a flash, this one a lot closer.
KAAA KAAAA BOOOOOOM
The thunder was on a delay, but not as long as before. The lightning was getting very close. You wish you could go inside one of the tents and take cover. But your stuck.
You hope none of the lightning strikes the ca—
KKKKKKKAAAAAAAAAAAA KKKKKKKAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA
KKKKKKAAAAAAAAAAAAAA
TTTTTTTTTZZZZZZZZZZZZZ
Just as you were thinking that lightning strikes the Mary go round dead center, sending thousands of volts of electricity through the metal structure. Thankfuly nobody was sitting on it at the time otherwise there skin would have merged with the super heated metal.......
...
...But someone was already fused to the metal however...
The electricity goes down the center of the Mary go round and spreads out.
It travels down the pole through your horse part and shocks you with the energy from the sky.
The electricity travels up Your nerves and encountering the magic already present in the permanent adhesive causing your nerves to grow into the metal along the path of the lightning, new endings are made along the path and the metal and your body merge, giving you control over your horse legs. Also cracking them in a way to make the joints bend.
You scream out as the same thing also happened to your horn. New nerves growing in the metal to give you a better control of the magic inside it.
For the second time in one week you are forced off the carousel. But this time instead of only breaking the head off the Unicorn. Now the entire thing exploded.
...
You wake up and find your self off the carousel for the first time in three days. The thing is a flaming mix of melted metal and fire that was being cooled by the rain. You look down and much to your disappointment, still have the ass end of a white painted metal horse that has begun to rust from all the rain. You had slightly hoped the lightning would break the curse.
However what was odd was the fact your legs were now bent in a way they hadn’t been before. They had always been in the pose of a prancing horse, now they were straight as you layed on your side.
You use your hand and find you could now bend your metal leg much like a real horse now.
Curiously you try to bend your legs with your mind. And find the legs respond to your commands like real horse legs...
You do a push up to get onto your four hooves and get your balance, which was harder than it sounds, the Unicorn was ment for little kids, and your waist up was anything but little. Eventually you find your balance by leaning back slightly.
You still can’t feel your metal lower half, but at least now you can control it like it was a part of you. Well... a part of you you could move now.
You turn and look on your lower back and find the spot where the pole went was now smooth white painted holo metal.
Whatever force that made you able to move below the waist had also sealed the hole that attaches you to the Mary go round.
The only way to get you back was to cut a new hole in your body.
That thought made you shake even more than the cold rain. Still, you had to thank the rain for letting you go.
Just then you see flashlights come to investigate the lightning strike.
Shoot. If the old man was there...
He fused you to a carousel for breaking one horse. Imagine what he’ll do if he sees it like this. You grab an undamaged carousel pole.
You gallop away from the flash lights at top speed.
Thankfully you have been putting together in your head how horses move, Incase the opportunity to escape ever make it self. Like for example.
NOW!!!
You run faster, and faster through the rain storm. Your metal hooves sloshing in the mud.
You keep turning through the maze of fair tents and attractions, trying to find a way out. Wiping rain from your face.
Finally you see it.
A barb wire fence with a wooden ramp next to it.
You stomp your front hoof twice, then gallop as fast as you can to the ramp.
You run up it, your metal lower half threatening to break the wood finally you jump.
The world slows down as you just make it, the barb wire scratching the white paint on your under side. Thankfully you don’t feel this, but you hear the metal scraping on metal.
You land on all fours and keep galloping into the forest till your out of sight of the carnival you were trapped at for three long days.
You were finally free. You could go we’re you wanted when you wanted.
(Well not exactly.)
You think looking down at your galloping metal horse legs.
Still.
It was better than what was happening yesterday.
You laugh thinking how you’ll never need to see that old man again...
