Michael and Helen Koh's discussion with their son, Raiden, had not gone as planned. They'd hope telling him the truth in person would've softened the blow, but instead it seemed only make things worse.
Of course, neither of them knew that Raiden hadn't been their son until a few hours ago, having been transformed by a curse from Eiden, a shy gay student crushing on his best friend (and their nephew) Ray into a loud boisterious video game playing college student with some very strong feelings about his former sexuality...

"No fuckin' way am I the son of two gay people! Not me!"
"It's true, son. You have to understand how things were with my family. When I was younger, my grandfather and your namesake, had plans for me. I was to marry and become father to the next generation..."
Michael paused, his son's still angry expression throwing him off a lot. But Helen jumped into pick up the story.
"He didn't understand that your father was not interested in finding a wife and having children. He rejected that his grandson was gay, much like my parents did when I tried coming out to them in college..."
There was more silent glares from Raiden, who was still processing the fact that both of his parents were not the straight couple he'd grown up knowing. That they were both gay!
"Son, your mother and I had been friends since high school. We knew each others' secrets and understood the pressure our families were putting on us to conform to the norms of the day. I was just about accept being a black sheep and an outcast among my relatives when..."
"...I suggested a solution to both of our problems. What if we married each other? Then our family would leave us in peace, and we'd be able to live our lives as we wished."
"I suppose that I was adopted or something?"
Michael frowned, not liking that his son had immediately jumped to that conclusion. He shook his head.
"No, you are our natural son. It was a condition of my grandfather's will that I must produce an heir or else I'd be cut off from our family's wealth. There were blood tests required to confirm parentage of the child. So that meant adoption was off the table.
Helen jumped in again.
"To preserve our secret, we decided to try. It wasn't the easiest thing, but after some doing, you were conceived."
Raiden mumbled under his breath at this explanation. Sure, he enjoyed the easy life his parents' wealth had provided him, and he supposed he should be grateful that life. But the hatred of gays boiled up so easily, thanks to the curse.
"Well, at least I turned out like Great-Grandfather wanted. Not gay like you Dad, and Mom. No fuckin' homo here! Just the fuck outta here!"
The insulting words hit the older Kohs hard, moreso because Raiden had passed along the were-breeder curse to the both of them. Now the next time they were aroused, they too would be transformed into a straight stereotype prone to homophobia.

The two of them stood outside of their son's dormitory, not sure what to do next. Michael nervously adjusted the black tie he wore with a dark grey suit and white dress shirt. Helen smoothed out a wrinkle in her knee- length black skirt, and picked a bit of lint from her blue blouse. Finally after a few mintues, she spoke up.
"Michael, I'm going to pay a visit to Rayne. Let her know what's going one."
"Are you sure that's a good idea?"
"It's better than standing out here and waiting for our son to change his mind."
"True. Alright, you go do that, while I head back to the car. I'll meet up with you in a bit?"
"It's a plan."
The married couple gave each other a supportive hug then seperated, neither knowing that this would be the last time they saw one another as Michael and Helen Koh...
