"Are you fucking serious? I won't act as a dog and be your family pet", Edwin screamed and tried to stand up, but failed. He tried for some moments, until he gave up. "So what now? Do you really expect me to crawl on all fours and eat out of a bowl?"
Rover grinned. "Sure, everything I did. It's just fair."
"But you were a dog."
"So are you now!", answered Rover. "And I guess it's time to go for a walk, isn't it."
"Wait ... like outside? On all fours?"
"Exactly ...well, not like this", Rover waved to Edwin resting on his handy and knees. "A proper dog stands on its handy and feet, like you!" Immediately Edwin would tense his legmuscles, so he would rest on his hands and feet. It was kind of unconfortable, because more of his weight weighed on his arms. "Better", Rover confirmed. "Now, heel!" Edwin felt the unresistable drive to walk behind Rovers left heel.
They both walked into the kitchen, where the false Edwin was greeted by "his" parents. "Good morning my dear. Are you hungry."
"I really am, mom", answered Rover. As hew saw all the prepared breakfast, he nearly cried. "But first let me feed Rover", said Rover.
"Yes, you better do", said Edwins dad. "The damn dog almost grabbed some food from the kitchen table."
The real Edwin did not dare to say something, but as he saw Rover grabbing the dog food and putting some in a bowl, he asked: "Are you really think I will eat this?"
Rover confirmed very quietly: "Yes, you will eat this until the bowl is empty!" Suddenly Edwin felt the urge to stick his face into the bowl and eat everything that is in there. The doog food tasted horribly, but there was no way of stopping.
In the meantime Rover enjoyed his first human breakfast. He almost started to eat like Edwin, but then is newly intelligence told him how to eat with fork and knive.
"Why does the dog wear your clothes?", Hector, Edwins dad, asked. "A dog shouldn't wear clothes."
Edwin, who has finished his meal, looked scared to Rover, who answered: "Uhm ... it's a game. Now he may wear it." It sounded like a weak explanation, but Hector settled for it.
"Okay, but you should hurry. It's school today. I will walk the dog, go and pack your stuff."
Another wave of fear grabbed Edwin. Rover would be away the whole day and his parents didn't know, what was going on.
