Noah was sure this shop hadn't been here before but it looked like it had been here for years. What really caught Noah's attention though was the shopkeeper. It looked like Chad.
Noah walked in and asked, "Chad, I didn't know you had a job."
The shopkeeper said, "My name is not Chad. Do I really look like Chad?"
Noah looked a little closer, "No, I guess not. Maybe you're his cousin."
The shopkeeper said, "Maybe. I have many cousins, too many to know all of them. How may I help you."
Noah said, "I don't know. I wasn't planning to buy anything."
The shopkeeper said, "Are you sure about that? No one enters this store unless they want something but many enter this story unaware of their secret desire. Are you having boyfriend trouble?"
Noah said, "No, I have a girlfriend."
The shopkeeper said, "My mistake. Are you having girlfriend trouble?"
Noah hated to admit it but he was. Nadine seemed more and more reluctant as if she was thinking of breaking up with him. "Yea, I'm having girlfriend trouble."
The shopkeeper said, "Then you have come to the right place. I am absolutely certain you will find something here to kindle the flame of your true love. Just look around. You will know what it is the moment you see it."
Noah didn't want to look around but he couldn't just leave. The shopkeeper's glare made him feel awkward like he'd become violent if Noah left. So Noah aimlessly wandered around for a few minutes.
