Derrick swam awkwardly towards the reef, opting to try and explore his new surroundings. He looked around as he swam. The coral looked like no type he had ever seen, in some of the strangest colors imaginable. Even the way they gently swayed in the sea looked otherworldly.
Was he even on Earth anymore?
His musing was interrupted by him colliding straight into something. He winced back and swam a foot or so backwards, clutching his forehead with one hand and regaining his bearings. When he looked back forward, his eyes widened and his jaw dropped.
He had run into a someONE. And what a someone she was.
It was a dolphin mermaid. She had a powerful-looking dolphin tail just like his, that daintily flicked in the water to hold her balance. But it was what lay above her waist that caught his attention. She had pale, smooth, flawless skin and long flowing blonde hair that floated majestically around her head, almost framing her heart-shaped face. Her eyes were wide and sea green, while her lips were full and curled into a radiant smile.
Derrick found his eyes pouring over her curves, however. Her curvy yet muscular body had a perfect hourglass shape and perky D cup breasts, totally unbound and uncovered. She showed no shame about her nudity, or the fact that Derrick was staring at her body.
Derrick felt the flames of desire well up within him. If this was really a dream, it was quickly becoming a wet one, in more ways than one.
"I'm sorry," Derrick said, once he picked up his jaw from the sea floor. "I wasn't looking where I was going."
"Aww, that's okay. You must be new here," the mermaid told him. "This is Naiad, the water world. You're a human from the resort on Earth, right? They have magical teleporters that take patrons here for transformation," she explained. "You know, for a human you turned out pretty sexy," she added, with a coy smile on her face. "My name's Stacey, you are?"
"Uh, Derrick," he answered sheepishly.
"Derrick," Stacey repeated. "I like that name. C'mon, Derrick. I wanna show you something." With that, she took Derrick's hand and began to lead him off, swimming through the reef.
