There was a loud knocking on the door. James' mother had gotten there quickly... It was less knocking, And more banging. Leaving Cathy and James both worried and afraid for what was going to take place next. Cathy got up to answer the door. She trembled slightly. Her fear and sadness bubbling over once more... She did not have as good a control on it as it as she thought. James quickly, And Instinctively grabbed her hand. "Let me get it." James said sternly. Cathy shrunk back a bit in a submissive manner. James went to the door with more confidence than he ever had before when facing his enraged mother. He remembered one time he had accidentally broken a sentimental photo frame. She flipped out at him. But calmed down shortly after... Julia was not an angry woman. But she could be more than angry if you pushed the right buttons... James opened the door. Ready for a whirlwind of anger. Ready to protect Cathy... it was strange. Something inside him was intent on protecting her... He didn't know if it was his wolf, Or himself gaining confidence and standing up for her because he knew his mother was wrong but... Still... "Hello?" James asked. He looked to see his mother. Crying. "J-James... I... I'm s-so s-s-sorry..." She said to him. James didn't realize how tense he was until he relaxed. "I'm not the one you should be apologizing too..." He says. He stepped aside to let her in. Cathy froze up when seeing Julia. "J-Jules?..." She asked. Clearly afraid of what She would do as a next move. Julia quickly went over to Cathy and hugged her. "I'm sorry Cathy... I-I should've known you'd never do this to my son on purpose... I was being stupid.... I should've seen it sooner... Please forgive me..." She said. Cathy was confused at first but hugged back. James stayed quiet. Not feeling he was needed right now. James felt happy that his mother made the right choice, And didn't decide to hurt Cathy... James felt his wolf stirring in his mind as well... But James keeps it in check
