The young untrained dragons had been used to having Sarah and her Warrior-Ladies suddenly pulling out Itching Powder Throw Tubes from out of their huge baggy skirts and spray the poor young beasts with itching powder.
However what had been totally unexpected for the Queen's young dragons was when the 14 human males escorting Sarah and her Warrior Ladies
had suddenly turned into rocs that to a dragonets untrained eye
was larger then it.
And so the fourty five young dragons,the Queens hope for defending the Kingdom from the Witch and Eric the Red's rebels,all squawked like chickens and bolted back to the Castle
and gathered around their Protector and in their minds Mother Dragon,the Queen herself.
The Queen was shocked that her husband the King had pulled this nasty trick on her dragons,whom she had raised since hatching and had given their True Names to.
The angry Queen had a mind to ask her fourty five dragons to burn the Castle
down.
However her husband,seeing the murderous gleam in his wifes eye,forestalled that
possibility by clapping his hands and loudly ordering the Royal Cooks to feed the Queens dragons with the finest choices of raw bloody sheep found in the ice cellars.
That took care of this botched training exercise between the Queen,King and the 45 happily whining dragons.
However three miles away the spell that the Castle Wizard Mandalf had cast on himself,Taemon,Ericson Franklin and the other noble youth to temporarily turn themselves into rocs,expired and swiftly the roc humans landed on the ground before they fell out of the sky as wingless humans again.
Princess Sarah and her twelve Warrior Ladies had recovered the other 14 horses and soon the training party returned to the Castle,to offer a apology to the still furious Queen for the trick they had played
on her 45 innocent and naïve dragon pets.
